Quarterback Pierce '13 Makes Hawk History

Saint Anselm sophomore quarterback Michael Pierce, a business major from Andover, Mass., made Hawk football history this week. He threw for a school-record 408 yards in a 45-35 win over Pace on Saturday, and then became the first Hawk ever to be named the National Offensive Player of the Week.

And if those firsts were not enough, Pierce won his third career Gold Helmet Award on Wednesday, presented by the Gridiron Club of Greater Boston. He took the honors in just 14 career games, becoming the first Hawk to compile that number.
