Saint Anselm College is offering registered nurses in northern New England a convenient way to move from the associate degree level to the bachelor's degree level, through a partnership with Cottage Hospital in Woodsville, N.H. Detailed information on this new feature of the Saint Anselm College RN to BSN Program will be available at an open house at Cottage Hospital on Wednesday, April 17 at 4 p.m.
The partnership allows a registered nurse with an associate degree to earn a bachelor's degree through a hybrid program that combines online Saint Anselm College nursing classes with satellite classes held at Cottage Hospital. Nurses enrolled in the Saint Anselm College RN to BSN Program can take the program's two required "on-campus" courses at Cottage Hospital instead of the college campus in Manchester, N.H.
Students may take one or two classes during each eight-week session up to 4 courses per semester. Financial aid is available and admission is rolling. The summer semester begins May 20. The fall semester begins September 2.
Rose Theroux, director of the RN to BSN Program, will discuss the program and answer questions at the open house on April 17.
Saint Anselm College will also host two virtual (online) open houses on Monday, April 15 at 4 p.m. and Thursday, April 18 at 7 p.m. Those interested in attending the virtual open house may register to attend online. The RN to BSN events are open to all registered nurses interested in Saint Anselm College's highly regarded nursing program.
