RN to BSN Degree Program Announces New Articulation Agreement

Saint Anselm College's RN to BSN Degree Program has established an additional articulation agreement with Lawrence Memorial/Regis College in Medford, Mass. This agreement allows students who hold an associate's degree in nursing a direct transfer of all course work to Saint Anselm College. The arrangement is just one of the many articulation agreements Saint Anselm has with colleges in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

As hospitals and organizations around the country continue to expect a bachelor's degree in nursing in order to practice acute care, there is more pressure than ever for registered nurses to continue their education. Saint Anselm College's articulation agreements aid nurses in achieving their bachelor's degree through a flexible and affordable program.

"We want to assist as many nurses as possible," says Susan Kinney, director of the RN to BSN Degree Program. "By creating partnerships, we are giving students a choice to make a seamless transition to Saint Anselm College's program."

As part of the agreements, Kinney creates personalized credit transfer worksheets for each of the college's RN to BSN articulation partners. This helps direct community college freshmen in their course selection to later expedite the transfer into Saint Anselm's RN to BSN Program.

The RN to BSN Degree Program accepts registered nurses who graduated with good standing with an associate's degree in nursing and a GPA of 3.0. Associate degree graduates accepted to Saint Anselm College through articulation agreements may complete their remaining requirements for the baccalaureate degree in as little as 18 months, or up to five years.

Saint Anselm's RN to BSN Program currently has articulation agreements with the following institutions: Nashua Community College, Great Bay Community College, Manchester Community College, New Hampshire Technical Institute (NHTI) in Concord, Middlesex Community College, and Saint Joseph School of Nursing.
