There is a new art gallery on campus-and it features the work of eight alumni. The exhibition runs April 1- June 1, with a reception Friday, April 4, from 4-6 p.m.

Will Suglia '11The artwork will be displayed in the Dana Center lobby, where two formerly plain corners have been transformed into the Dana Center Alcove Galleries.

"What were once dark corners of red brick are now beautifully sheet-rocked with new ceilings and gallery lighting," says Kimberly Kersey-Asbury, associate professor in the Department of Fine Arts.

The new venue will be used to display work related to fine arts and SOAR activities. SOAR is an annual, month-long series of events that celebrate research, writing, and art by Saint Anselm College students in nearly every major.

Alumni exhibiting their work in the new space are: Matthew Lomanno '99, Christie Telge Green '09, Kara Consigli '10, Meredith Graf '11, Carlo D'Anselmi '13, Justine Johnson '12, Will Suglia '11, and Lauren Miller '13.

The exhibition is one of 18 SOAR events. A full schedule and details can be found at:
